[Command line question]

In Defragglers "Settings\Options" window, there is an option to "save all settings to INI file". I don't think it's checked by default, which means the settings are stored in the registry.

 

Check the box, and the INI file will be in Defragglers "Program Files" folder.

[Defragggin 2 GIG files or bigger]

I have a large .zip file that is a little over 2 GIG in size. Defraggler 1.18.185 says it is defragmented so I start Defraggler. When it hits this file (last one, it seems) it will:

 

1) Act like it is moving the file to another location

2) Almost moves the file to the location it was moving it to

3) Abruptly stops moving the file, moves it back where it started at and alerts me that defragging is done.

 

IF it matters, SmartDefrag and Defrag PE both chokes on this file as well.

I set Defraggler to exclude certain files and folders and set a schedule. I noticed the scheduler invokes df.exe so I was just wondering if it uses the ini file.

 

 

Which ini file are you talking about? Let me know, since it has the potential to fix an issue I am having with Defraggler.
