[Can't download spsetup105.zip from the builds folder!]

When trying to download the new "spsetup105.zip"

from the "http://www.piriform.com/speccy/builds" folder,

i _repeatedly_ get some errmsg from speccy's download server!

 

This does _not_ happen for the standard build "spsetup105.exe"

which comes with an installer - But i do _not_ want an installer...

 

Please inform the webmaster of this damaged server!

Problem Solved

 

 

The Ccleaner hanging problem is no more.

 

This was due to the inclusion of the Folder " C:\WINDOWS\system32\CatRoot2\*.* ", which it did not like.

 

I have changed that to " C:\WINDOWS\system32\CatRoot2\tmp.edb " &

 

" C:\WINDOWS\system32\CatRoot2\edb.chk "

 

and the problem has disappeared.

 

My apologies for a false alarm.

it would be nice to include to clean all unnecessary Windows *.tmp & *.chk files as well & also, more

 

importantly, Flash Cookies which are located in the Folder

 

" C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\ ".

[CCleaner Portable V2.28.1091 Hanging]

CCleaner hangs when analysing & cleaning files - Portable Version 2.28.1091.

It hangs for a while between 52% to 57%.

It is, therefore, taking longer to do the task then the previous version.

I have been using Portable Versions for over a year & this is the first time this delay has happened.

I have, therefore, reverted back to the previous version.
