IDE/SATA in Speccy Posted January 24, 2010 I have several HDD's picked up within my windows. I have a NAS with a 1.5TB and a 500GB formatted into 2 partitions. These are being picked up as SCSI correctly. I have (as primary boot drive) a 500GB SATA being picked up correctly. Then I have a 320GB samsung and 1000gb WD FALS, both being reported with correct model number, but as IDE. Thought this would interest you as I have not seen a 1000GB FALS HDD in IDE, so its definitely a bug.
