But I didn't know either of them, so had had the search the whole disk.

And in the end most files didn't had a name at all, so, i had to except the data of a friend of mine is gone.

Hi, I'm doing an extendet scan because quick scann doesn't find my files.

however this scan takes about 20 hours, is it possible to see which files are already be found so i know when I can cancel the scan?

I indeed use a sata to usb adapter to try to read the data.

 

I could hear the drive spinning but it didn't make clicking noises.

I don't have the disk anymore. So I can't see disk management.

 

I'm allmost sure the partition is damaged, or actually the complete harddisk because I cound't remove or add any partition on it.

Hi,

 

A friend of mine broke the hard-disk of his laptop,

system wound't and winpe gave me an error.

So I thought building out the hard disk and connect it to usb.

Windows7 can nog read any data, it won't even recognize the size of the harddisk. It only gave the harddisk letter(G:)

So I thought maybe recuva can help but when using the wizzard i get a time-out error while starting.

and now I turned off the wizzard connected the harddisk again and start a scan but it stuck on 0%.

It is still trying to scan but I don't have any hope for it, it is on 0% after an hour.

 

Does someone have a solution for me or do I have to search for other programs?
