  1. Nope. The new power supply didn't help. I then went and talked to a tech at the Tiger Direct outlet we have out here, and he said it's more than likely the hard drive. I bought a hard drive and guess what, it's still happening.

     

    I also did a memory test for over 24 hour and my RAM hasn't come up with any errors. I'm baffled as to what else it could be?!

     

    my daughter's pc just started doing that recently, too. i replaced the cmos battery since the mobo and box is over 7 yrs old. not a problem since. and just think, all it cost was $3 and change...

  2. oh hazelnut, i posted the data as you requested. it's in the computer help and discussion > spyware hell forum under the same title as this topic. thanks for your help with this nasty. i saw it as a hidden pgm in sys32. again, tx for your assistance.

  3. hi all. i just loaded and ran the latest cccleaner version, 2.22.968. after ift was done, i analyzed the system, and ran the cleaner. now, whenever i run any program, i get flagged "the application or dll globalroot\systemroot\system32\hjgruixlqjomqr.dll is not a valid windows image. please check this against your install diskette." i googled this flag and came up empty. i ran the check in the registry for the word hjgruixlqjomqr.dll and again came up empty. i'm at a loss here. anyone run across this same issue?
