  1. I was looking for a way to get rid of the following message in Windows 7:

"You have files waiting to be burned to disc"

I found an article that instructed me to delete the contents of the Temporary Burn Folder in Windows:

    C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Burn\Temporary Burn Folder

It is easy to do manually, but I thought it would be a good feature to add to CCleaner.

Below is a link to the article:

  2. Its still there. Are you saving settings to INI or registry?

I installed version 2.22.968 on Windows 7, and the IIS Log Files option is gone. After your message, I tried it on Windows XP, and the IIS Log Files option is there on Windows XP.

So it appears that CCleaner version 2.22.968 on Windows 7 does not have the IIS Log Files option.

  3. I am a huge fan of CCleaner, but I saw where Comodo is now offering a free cleaner. I downloaded and tried Comodo System Cleaner. I ran Comodo after running CCleaner, and Comodo found an additional 500 registry problems, even after CCleaner had fixed all problems it found.

What is Comodo looking for that CCleaner is not? I hope that Piriform is looking at competing products frequently to see how they work, and to see what improvements can be implemented in CCleaner.
