if its corrupt... try dial-a-fix (win2k/xp)

also try scannow /sfc commands in all o/s to repair o/s

 

ccleaner: cleans current user folder and "all users folder" which is a generic folder, not every user on the machine.

not sure if this would get the ball rolling, since i used your software free for years i wanted to share.

 

cleans: temp, prefetch for system

cleans: temp, temporary internet and java cache of each user on the machine

requires: admin rights, IE must be closed

 

this is ie only since most remote support corporate troubleshooting still uses ie.

ccleaner is used often for pre-cleaning before spyware removal.

 

imagine having to login to 50 user accounts before running malwarebytes.

 

not going to happen.

 

if the user has admin rights on win2k/winxp it often bypasses the password security for both folders.

i ran my fixed script without issues.

is it in any beta builds or on a priority list?

seems to only clean some of the standard folders and the current user's folders but not folders of other users, even if on an admin account with access rights to those folders.

 

this is very important if your trying to clean up a pc with 10+ users.

it oculd be ccleaner often overlooks other user's documents and settings folders too. which im trying to find a solution for myself

often the temporary internet files get overlooked in documents and settings, even if logged in as an admin.

 

is there a way to scan all the folders?
