  1. You can launch CCleaner with

    CCLEANER /AUTO /SHUTDOWN
    

    That will clean your machine and then shutdown the P.C.,

    and Updates can then happen as usual.

     

     

    The problem is, when I double click the icon, the ccleaner main page comes up and I don't have the option to change the launch criteria...

    I'm running windows xp and when I shut the computer off at night it automaticly runs any microsoft updates that are needed before shutting down. Can I set up ccleaner and defraggler to automaticly run when I select system shudown ?

  3. I concur with your experience! I've gone off and let the defrag run all day, only to find it hung up at 41% or some other half complete condition. If you come up with a solution, please let me know. Thanks, Larry..

  4. I have the latest defraggler installed on two computers. The pc with windows xp runs the defrag to a o/o state, no problems. The lap top with vista won't get past about 50% and 40 to 50 fragmented files. I've let it run for as long as two hours and it will not proceed any further. Any suggestions?
