  1. I have a spanned pagefile (see attached screenshot). post-27246-1236852049_thumb.jpg

     

    Defraggler doesn't seem to identify the pagefile (should be in gold blocks according to the legend) on the C: drive: post-27246-1236852116_thumb.jpg ,

     

    but it does on the (pre-defrag) volume map on the D: drive: post-27246-1236852220_thumb.jpg

     

    PageDefrag identified both: post-27246-1236853942_thumb.jpg

     

    Is it me not getting something, or Defraggler?

  2. ... because Defraggler says it has defragged my C: drive, and says there are zero fragmented files, using 0 fragments. Great!

     

    Except that the volume map (attached) shows a bright red chunk of disk, and the files include $MFT in 185 fragments. Further, this $MFT appears to be outside the 'Reserved for $MFT' area designated on the volume map.

     

    What am I not understanding? Or is it Defraggler?
