[Bookmarks / AutoForms]

The actual location IE places the bookmarks in isn't a folder called bookmarks, it's a folder called favorites and it is located at:

%userprofile%\favorites

 

Also CCleaner doesn't do anything to IE's bookmarks.

yes you are fully right, in french it is called "favoris", I thought the english name was "bookmarks". Anyway, the "favorites" directory is there with all bookmarks in, but still not appearing anymore in the ie browser when clicking on "favorites".

Any idea ?

I'm a new user and am afraid to press the "Run Cleaner" button because I fear I will loose all my bookmarks and auto-fill data for IE and Firefox.  Any comments/words of reassurance? Greatly appreciated.

All my bookmarks disappeared yesterday from my ie6 browser, but they are not erased, and still located in the correct directory C:/documents & settings/user/bookmarks.

 

Any idea how to get them back into ie browser ?
