Slow loading in CCleaner Posted December 30, 2008 Hello: I am new to the forum and would appreciate any help I can get regarding this. For some reason CCleaner takes up to 1.5 minutes to load. I am having the same problem with Firefox, but not any of my other applications. I am running the most current of both programs. I have uninstalled both and re-installed them individually without the other and stlll have the same problem. I have started task manager while CCleaner is trying to load and the cpu usage stays with system idle process mainly. So it doesn't appear that another program is blocking. I am running Windows XP Pro service pack 3. 2Ghz AMD Athlon w/2 gig ram. HELP!!!
