[ms office 2003 history no clean]

I've the same problem.

 

Cleaning RUF in Office 2003 worked until v2.03 or v2.04 of CC

 

Then, It stopped working...

When you say history are you refering to recent files? The only thing that I know has an history is your web browser with you can set to clear.

 

CC has never cleared my office recent files on any version I've used. There are topics on this exact subject do a search. But don't search for office history use office recent.
