Well, I just read the entire thread, and to be honest, it really didn't answer any of my questions. The only thing that I saw was that JKDefrag has the option of how it is run, as in command line options. But that can't really be the only difference, right?
Also, last night I ran JK which took like, 6 hours to do my three drives, and didn't even finish, and I just analyzed with Defraggler, and it found even MORE fragmented files than before!
So please, even for the sake of just having the resource all in one place, give me a list of advantages of both, and the answers to my questions above.
Also, I am a bit perplexed as to your typing....

So I'm a hardcore Piriform fanatic; I use all three of their programs frequently, update them, and anticipate new programs in the future. But when I go online on multiple freeware sites, I look at the "best defrag" program, and everywhere it's JKDefrag. I have used the program, and to be honest, I don't like it. It's nice that it's so small, but it has NO user configuration at all. Not to mention that it takes like, 2 hours. I love Defraggler. But I need someone to tell me, why is it better than JKDefrag? Or is it not? On the same lines, JK takes forever to "Optimize" the disk. Keep in mind, I don't know the specifics of Defragging at all, but I understand that this action moves commonly used programs to a more accessible part of the disk for quicker use. Does Defraggler have this functionality? Or will it at the first stable release?
Oh, and I DID do a forum search, but if I missed a topic similar to this, be gracious.

A couple suggestions, or thoughts:
-I say that there should be an option of tray or not. If it's a quick Defrag, I don't want another icon in my tray. If it's a massive defrag, having it out of the taskbar would be great.
-Maybe the option to defrag on screensaver, like JKDefrag? It's a nice function.....but I like Piriform too much to use another program! So if Defraggler had that option, it would make me love it even more.
-Doesn't it check for updates on it's own? I don't want to have to go to a web page every time to see if I have the latest version. I just want it to tell me when the new version comes out, and THEN take me to a web page to download it.
-The "Do you want to re-analyze this drive?" prompt does seem a little unneeded...but it's just minor.
-Scheduling would be awesome.
EDIT: I just saw that there was a pinned topic like this, so I may have goofed....

Hmm....it seems to be working now...... I swear it hasn't worked like that for the last year.....
I think it's because I just now clicked the "Save settings to INI file". I'd never even seen it before.
Well....thanks anyway!

Hey! I LOVE CCleaner, I've been using it for quite some time, and I LOVE Piriform!
One thing that I would like to see would be the "Cookies to Delete" and "Cookies to Keep" for Firefox, not just IE. It seems that when I go to Options>Cookies, it only shows cookies from IE. If it could have the same features for Firefox, it would be even more perfect than it is now.
Thanks, Piriform for a wonderful product!

Alright, thank you. That answered my questions.
