i'm afraid I tried that already, to no avail. Very odd I must admit.

I have never heard of this happening....try this. Right click on the icon, go to Properties, click on Change Icon, reselect the normal one, hit apply, and see if it makes a difference.

I am using CCleaner 2.03.532 on Win2000. A few days ago the desktop icon changed to blue ... incl the broom. I've uninstalled CC, redownloaded it, delete Shelliconcache but it's still blue. Any ideas? I do prefer the red broom.

 

All this seems to have happened after I installed Spybot 1.5. Might be a coincidence of course. Oh yes, I have removed Spybot too just in case. Still blue.
