Hi,
Each time I click the ?Run Cleaner? button or I launch CCleaner with the ?/Auto? command-line, I get the following message from Windows:
Microsoft C++ Exception CCleaner v3.08.1475 MS Windows XP Home SP3 Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.40GHz 767MB RAM NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 with AGP8X (Microsoft Corporation) ID=-1 PR=0 DA= RK= RU=32 CK=0 SK= VK= VA=N_MOZ_HISTORY CR=87 PF=0 EI=0 FL=103 IIT=0 FI=-1 SI=0
Thank you for any help.
Regards,
Robert

Hi,
CCleaner does a very good job of cleaning the XP registry.
But it always fails to catch OpenSaveMRU entries that point to files no longer present on the hard drive (at least at the saved location).
"WT Registry Cleaner XP" is a discontinued application but it does catch those dead registry entries.
I would appreciate if CCleaner did catch such entries as can be found for example in the following keys:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\OpenSaveMRU\mht
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\OpenSaveMRU\zip
Thanks for a great utility.
Cheers,
Robert
Firefox needs to be closed

Whenever I “Run Cleaner”, I get the following message:
“Firefox needs to be closed to clean the Internet Cache.
Do you want CCleaner to close Firefox?”
The problem is I just closed Firefox and Firefox is no longer listed among the running apps.
This message never appeared before CCleaner last update.
