I found out already, it is done by a scheduled task, when "skip User Account Control message" is activated within ccleaner, a scheduled task is created.

When i turn off "skip User Account Control message", the scheduled task is also gone..

This option to skip User Account Control message is great.

 

However, I have one question: I thought this option would be saved in the ccleaner.ini-file, but this is not the case.

Can anyone tell me where this setting is stored?

Because then i can first run the intelligent Scan, and after that run ccleaner /AUTO

I was wondering if there is an option to perform an intelligent scan of the cookies.

 

I am looking for a method to clean cookies from our user profiles, because some users have over 10.000 cookies.

However, i want to keep cookies that may be of some importance for the user.

 

Is there an option to first run the intelligent scan, and then clean the cookies with the ccleaner /AUTO option?

 

Or has anyone got a tip how to deal with this problem?

The cleaner option sometimes really makes the computer faster!!!!

 

The registry gets rid of some corrupt entries, which can cause serious startup problems.

 

If a computer with Windows XP has been running for a few years already, the cleaner option sometimes fixes about 1000 or more corrupt entries.

After a restart, the computerperformance is sometimes a lot better.

 

I agree, not in all cases, the computer will performe better after the cleanup.

I use the "clean registry" very often, and i never saw it go wrong.

That's why I would like the commandline option, of course, at my own risk........

 

It would really help in keeping the computers fast.

This option is not available in ccleaner.

 

It is considered preferable to have a user in attendance when dealing with such an important area as the registry.

I am using CCleaner in a small business.

 

Especially the option to clean the registry is very usefull to sometimes speed up the computer performance.

 

The option that I am looking for is a command line option to clean the registry.

 

I know that the /AUTo option is available, but this one is only helpfull for the cleaner option.

Doe anyone know a trick to perform a registry cleaning from the commandline?

 

Is there maybe a hidden feature?

When i use the command line option CCleaner /AUTO, the program automatically cleans the computer.

However, this option only includes the Cleaner part, but not the "Registry integrity".

 

Is there also a option to use CCleaner on the command line, but only use the registry integrity part?
