I will see what I can do, but no promises. I don't have CS3, but from what I am guessing... I'm going to guess it's mostly embedded in the programs (more and more programs are doing that these days).
Many thanks, I'd appreciate it.

It's possible. You just have to find all the files and registry keys that need to be cleared, and write a winapp2.ini entry. Just follow the directions. You may be able to get a head start by looking at the winapp2.ini entires already developed for older versions of Photoshop.
Thanks for the reply Glenn.
Unfortunately for me, I am a complete tech-idiot. I'd probably end up launching nukes over the pacific if I tried attempting anything close to the above.

I currently configured my PS3 scratch disk into another partition which has the most free space. The problem is theses PS3 related Temp files float around in this larger partition (i.e. its not created in any particular folder - i.e. i can't select a specific folder for CC to clean).
Is there anyway to get CC to cleanup these Temp files after I close PS3 they are still there and I am manually deleting them... either that or does anyone have any suggestion as to how to get PS3 to generate its temp files into a specific folder?
Thanks

yeah, use the winapp2.ini for extra applications to clean.. if the application you have still isn't in there, you can request that they add it in there for you.. or you can script it into the file yourself, if you know how to do that ofcourse..
as for the uninstalled app that's still showing in CCleaner.. it would help if you told us what app it is.
try reading this thread, it's a similar problem, and might help you:

you might have to browse your Application Data folder, and manually clean out the program's files from there.
Thanks for all of the replies.
I wanted to add Photoshop CS3. Is that possible?

Can someone tell me how to "add" an Application to clean in the Applications tab? I'm not talking about adding a specific / custom folder, but is it possible to "add" an application (such as Photoshop) in the Applications tab?
Also, in the Applications Tab -> Applications there is an old program that no longer exists on my system but still shows up, is there any way to delete this program from showing up in the Applications?
Thanks
Weird Error (First Time I Ever Got One)
in CCleaner
Posted
There was this pop up message in the right lower corner of my computer (Windows Vista Ultimate) -- you know one of those Balloon Pop Ups like there is a MS Update or
something the message sounded ominous about CCleaner.exe being corrupt and that I should run chkdsk.exe (though I tried doing that also) - it made reference to a DLL:
Here is a snapshot of the ERROR message:
Here is the full text I grabbed:
ActiveX/COM Issue InProcServer32\C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\MICROS~1\OFFICE12\ACEOLEDB.DLL HKCR\CLSID\{3BE786A0-0366-4F5C-9434-25CF162E475E}
ActiveX/COM Issue InProcServer32\C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\MICROS~1\OFFICE12\ACEOLEDB.DLL HKCR\CLSID\{3BE786A0-0366-4F5C-9434-25CF162E475F}
I think this has to do with a Registry Defrag I ran just before (with TuneUp Utilities)... I haven't really changed anything else.
I was worried about running the Registry Integrity feature on CCleaner (I only run the main app).
I don't want to do any further damage before I understand what this error means. I tried Googling it but no joy.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
