  1. I've run CCleaner registry cleaner and deleted all the items found. However, I've run the demo version of Uniblue, a registry cleaner that costs about $60 for the full version. Uniblue claims to have discovered over 400 errors AFTER I have run CCleaner. Any insight as to the validity of the uniblue number and why there could be such a huge discreprancy between the two? Thanks.

I think CCleaner isn't mainly a registry cleaner, and Uniblue's Registry Booster (I'm guessing you are referring to that one) is. I use RegSeeker as my main registry cleaner.

  2. Since someone already translated Recuva into Swedish, I cant really help that much on this part. I might translate the users manual, if there is any interest in it. And why aren't the users manual hosted on the main Recuva site?

  3. Hi. I have been using CCleaner for like a year now, and Recuva for a few months. Thanks for two great apps!

I didn't know where to put this thread because the official Beginner's Guide thread is closed. Oh, well.

I have noticed one misstake in the manual; at the "Command Line Parameters" section the manual says: "To do this, Right Click on the CCleaner shortcut, and then click on Properties." Isn't this a Recuva manual? :P

And in the same section I think you could add another way to run the app in debug mode. I've used this: Start->Run->Recuva.exe /debug, I think that's a better and easier way to do it. But that's just me. ;)

Oh, and I apologize for all the spellning and grammatic errors in the text, I'm from Sweden.
