to do a print screen, you need to find a button/key on your keyboard that say "print screen" or something similar. press it when you want to capture the current screen. then open up a image edition program (microsoft paint for example) and then paste it. save it.

Well your explanation is correct to the point of where you have to save. When you are on the process to save this file there are options how you would like to save your file. It would be better to save it with the option JPEG because it is smaller than the option default to BMP.
