All: Used CCleaner for a couple of years. Last night, it worked automatically and took out (I think) all of my Quicken Data files. Tried a XP System restore for a week ago, but files were gone. Any suggestions?? Bill H
XP System Restore doesn't do anything with data files. You have to backup data files by other means.
You could try Recuva but the more you use the harddrive, the more likely it is that you will overwrite parts of the lost files.
