Yes there is a known bug when it comes to identifying drive type. This seems to be especially so when the system has one ssd and one hdd. We are assured that a new version of defraggler is forthcoming but have, in all honesty, seen little movement toward this release.

New versions of the home-use versions of Speccy and Recuva are being actively worked on. Defraggler has had updates for the business version (part of CCleaner Cloud). But the home-use version of Defraggler is our least-used product, so its future is under review.

I've been using Defraggler for as long as I can remember. Another data point indicating I'm a harbinger of market failure I guess. :(
