Would love to buy the pro or pro plus version, But..

Greetings to all,

Hi I'm Randy and I'm new around here. Been using cCleaner for quite a long time though and love it. I would love to purchase the pro or pro plus version but I'm legitimately physically disabled and can't swing it at this time. Is there any other way to get the pro or pro plus version?

I also currently have a online 'help us out' type fundraiser because of our disabilities for my wife and I. If you'd like to know more about it, please contact me. {Email Redacted}

Take care all.

Best regards,

Randy K

@Randy,

Do you realise the free and Pro versions do the same thing?

The added benefits Pro gives is access to support directly from Piriform and the ability to clean all user areas from the one CC run.

So in other words, if your wife and you log into the PC with the same user profile, or if separate profiles, if you install CC on each, you'll have the same cleaning abilities from the free version as you would getting the Pro.

My apologies. I didn't know. New kid (old kid) on the block here.

So not really much point in getting the pro version then i guess. Thanks.

Hi, tnmtnman.

According to TwistedMetal, one of the very early moderators, CCleaner was origially intended to be entirely freeware.

I suppose that the cost of maintaining a forum and several new softwares got too great, and they had to set up a payment option.

Folks pay for the software for different reasons.

Some folks need help at the developer level, some need to be able to work over a network, and some just want to support good software.

But if you use the free version, you are still welcome here and still have a great software.
