CCleaner doing something to my Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software two days in a row. had to do OfficeSetup.exe both days to get them to open again.

Are you using the registry section? CCleaner free or pro?

(And check in CCleaner under "Performance Optimizer" if the Office applications are also in sleep state. If so, wake them all up again.)
