Wont hibernate after running CCleaner.

CCleaner is making it so my computer wont hibernate unless I go reset the hibernation settings.

It's Windows 10 Home Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.508)

Alienware 15R4

Are you using the registry section of ccleaner?

Do you use a winapp2 file or any ccleaner enhancing software

Custom clean alone or registry too?

yes, registry cleaner too

you're probably removing a registry entry which is tied to hibernation mode. Removing blindly the registry entries found can cause troubles, best to follow my signature (below this post) when doing registry cleaning especially with windows 10

I just noticed that Firefox is what's keeping me from hibernating (quite unusual). I'll have to go bug them, maybe it's an add-on cause it's definitely not a video or song.

It could well be an add on.

Firefox has it's own "safe mode" to check for that - but in the end you have to disable each one in turn to find the offending one.

(BTW I've not heard of anyone using hibernate with Win10 before. Some use Fast Startup which is a combination of sleep and hibernate; and is always suggested as the thing to turn off if you are having odd problems).
