Just ran driver update. PC has been restarting for 38 minutes.
Can I pull the plug and then restart?

As it’s 12 hours since you posted then I assume that the Restart completed or that you’ve pulled the plug by now.
Sometimes despite the “Do not turn off your computer” if it’s stuck then there is nothing else that you can do.
How long you leave it trying is down to how patient you are (and may change) sometimes leaving it overnight or for a full day will let it complete, other times not.
Luckily Win 10 was/is quite tolerant of being forced off like that.
Win 11 is even more tolerant and can even automatically repair Boot issues if necessary.
