CCleaner for Windows

I have v2.20.92 installed on my machine with ME os. I have used CCleaner for 4+ years with no prob but after a normal update to v2.18 (or so) all cleaning stopped. When "run cleaner" is selected the reply is "cleaning complete .07secs" 0KB removed. I can then immediately run an old version of "Window Washer" and remove numerous items that CCleaner normally would have. I have removed and reinstalled several times and kept updating hoping for a fix. BTW the registry scan seems to continue working normally. Will I have to go back to an older version and what version would that be?

v2.21 did it. I guess a little more patience would have avoided the question. Its impressive to see how much "C" built up in 3 months using W/W.
