Wonder how they'll handle the Messaging app windows 8 comes bundled with.

I use windows live messenger to connect to Facebook chat. I wonder whether they will send some sort of kill command that will disable the app, or if they're just going to kill the MSN service.

It was also mentioned on a local news channel where I live.

Never used Skype. So after March 15th. I'll see whether I prefer Skype or change to Yahoo Messenger (which I have never used either).

I use both (Skype & WLM), and I'd like to keep it that way. Some of my friends don't use Skype & vice versa.

R.I.P. Windows Live Messenger. Forced migration to Skype begins today.

Actually in here WLM stopped working approx. yesterday morning

Skype chat sucks. :(

RIP. I haven't used Windows Live (actively) in a few years, but I still had my account up'n running on PIdgin.

I've used it actively probably approx 10 years or so. :D
