Performed a CC Driver Update and can no longer access my camera for video calls, startup facial recognition. Camera is dead. CC Cleaner did it. Tried installing HP default drivers, still won’t work. Not happy
Did you try the “+ Fix a problem” button in Software Updater to see if it could roll back to your previous driver?
PS. I never update drivers unless I’m having a problem with one.
Why try to ‘fix’ something that is working? Usually updating a driver to a newer version won’t make any noticable change to your machine. However if the new driver version is not meant for your particular hardware it can stop that hardware from working properly.
