What's the community's assessment of CCleaner's Windows 10 registry cleaning? Is it necessary? Does it cause problems? The computer techies I've researched say that CCleaner is a great product, but recommend against its cleaning the registry. I would appreciate any information that any members of the community care to share.
I personally don't clean Win 10 registry as Win 10 is evolving so fast you have no idea what the cleaning might break.
That's what I thought. Thank you very much for your input.
Microsoft themselves say not to use a registry cleaner, especially with Windows 10.

Refistry cleaners have a place as a specialist tool, but not for regular use.
I've never run into registry problems. I follow the steps laid out in my signature (rarely actually remove anything)
