Like many users, lost all my Firefox bookmarks, why didn’t they tell us to backup before installing a obviously not tested version 7. Any possibilies to regress to last bug free version?
Cheers

Hi Ben78530:
If you want to go back to using CCleaner v6.39 see nukecad’s 08-Oct-2025 instructions at How to Roll Back from v7 to v6.39. Be sure to include Step # 4 (turn off automatic updating) and Step # 5 (delete CCupdate.exe) to prevent an automatic upgrade back to CCleaner 7. Those instructions will not uninstall CCleaner 7 from your system so you will have to do that yourself at Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features or Settings | Apps, and any custom settings you made in CCleaner 7 will be lost during this process.
You might find some helpful suggestions in my 04-Sep-2025 post in suej’s Lost bookmarks if CCleaner v7.x deleted or locked your Firefox bookmarks.
