Why older version was better

Hi Support,

Well from stopping services, including the 3 auto starts!
And k1lling Ccleaner in Task Manager.

Oh and uninstalling the latest version and installing the older version, following your guide.
I’d like to inform you why the latest version is a not for me (or others).

  1. No way to close it! That was a shock.

I have been using Ccleaner for years. The reason why is because its simple, effective and safe.
The absolute main reason why its literally the best tool is because its simple interface.
I have similar respect to the default Google webpage. If you load it up, its literally just search.
Ccleaner became the tech savvy, best app to use. Highly recommended on every tech site.

Oh you could find other ‘cleaner’ apps, however they were huge, with unneeded everything.
Ccleaner was the ORIGINAL and best app up to the latest version, literally due to simplicity and obviously its effectiveness.

Simple & Effective

ie Not the latest program that is like some game/sliding/confusing interface (which I couldn’t even manually close (services issue).

Obviously I went back, and so should you.
What the hec were you thinking? Simple cleaner app. Not what that was.

Hello Support, Here’s my two cents - The new version requires three separate responses (Junk; Browsers; Registry) versus the older version which is more user friendly operation (one response). Cheers!

If you’re talking about custom clean, all three tabs clean at the same time, juat like version 6 before. The tabs are divided differently and reg cleans with it. But what you’re describing isn’t true.

Version 6.x was incredibly superior to version 7. But earlier reiterations were even better. Not sure if the old dinosaur developers have retired and the younger Gen X borderline Gen Z are ruining this application.

I agree with both of the above, also I would like to add that this “new and improved” version is driving me insane with all the pop-ups that ask me to rate or review the program and if I don’t choose to do so - it keeps asking me to do it again!

I tend to put a 1 star to programs that harass me wit pop-ups that try to get me to start the program, or as already mentioned to rate/review it.

I loved CCleaner because I didn’t get this crap all the time, I used to NOT get it with Avast antivirus software as well - and now they are giving me the same BS.

PLEASE STOP or at least make it possible for me to NOT have to deal with the pop-ups.

I run the programs when I want to run them or suspect I have a reason to run them, I don’t like the auto-runs because they tend to run the program when I am playing a resource hogging game or streaming a movie and I don’t want to be disturbed while doing so. Programs like CCleaner and Avast used to have settings that would make sure we didn’t have to worry about this kind of thing, but I guess that you all think we’re just a bunch of dumb***’s who don’t know how to think or schedule this stuff on our own, we need you to do it for us???
