White Window for CCleaner after CCleaner updated itself to 7.0.1004.1184 ( Windows 11 )

I have opened ccleaner as usual - but only get a blank window, even without scroll/staus bars. It seems it self-updated yesterday to version 7.0.1004.1184. Will try and install an older version in the meantime.

We’ve had a few reports of this welcome screen issue and there’s a work round (it works for most):

Go into Windows Settings and set the display scale to 100%.
Run CCleaner 7 and get past the Welcome Screen.
Set your display scale back to what it was.

How to Roll Back from v7 to v6.39

We now have numerous posts from users dissapointed with the new v7 and asking if/how they can roll back to v6.39. Whilst normally I would say that you should use the latest version that works on your machine I also believe that you should have the choice to roll back from a major feature update. Particularly if/when that update is flawed. So here is how to do it using the official v6.39 installer (so that you don’t have to download a possibly dodgy* v6.## installer from a 3rd party website): …
