White Screen Issue After Using CCleaner on Windows 10 Notebook

Hi everyone,
I was using CCleaner to delete a third party app when suddenly my screen turned completely white no taskbar, no icons, nothing except the mouse cursor.

I disconnected all external USB drives, but when I reconnected them, AVG detected the drives and offered to scan, yet the system would not shut down afterward without pressing the power button.

I have tried restarting the computer and pressing F9 and F10, but the white screen persists. I have a Windows 10 22H2 HP notebook and did a clean install just a month ago.

Has anyone encountered this blank white screen issue? Any suggestions on how to resolve it?

Presumably it is not always blank, as you say that you could see AVG.

Were you just uninstalling an app, or did you do something else too?
(Which app was it?)

Blank screen issues often indicate a display driver problem, or a hardware problem.

The first can usually be fixed using the Windows Troubleshooter, or the Device Manager see this:
