hi, wipe free space or whatever it is called was taking a really long time, so i cancelled it. it seems as though i have less hard drive space availible now. where would i locate that file to manually delete it?
i am on vista 64-bit.
thanks!

Why not restart it and leave it running overnight?

That was not the OP's question. BTW, restarting the wipe will probably not delete the first file anyway.
The file is located in the root of the respective drive and is named as a random sequence of capital letters.
