Download portable version, unzip and make a shortcut to that folder. Done, and it doesn't make changes to your registry.
I don't know about everyone else, but I'm wearying of this topic. CC is a free product and users will just have to wait for a few days for that desperate-to-have enhancement, or use one of the many workrounds already mentioned. I'm closing this topic.
