Where is Drive Wiper in V7?

I used CCleaner (free) for a long while, but just today downloaded the new V7, and paid for a year subscription. But I cant for the life of me find the Drive Wipe functionality.

I have a couple of older drives I want to wipe before passing on to my family…

I tried the help files, but it just shows old versions (like I used to use).

Any Ideas?

At this point it’s not there, that i’ve found. Many features that users rely on have been stripped from this version. I’m running a disc analyzer section to see if maybe it’s hidden there, but am currently at 87% and holding on a relatively small (500GB SSD) drive. Oh wait 90%

Oh that’s not good! I don’t mind the other cleanup tools, but the wipe was useful! I wouldn’t have paid for the year had I known it wasn’t there…

It said it in the spec comparisons for free and pro…

Seven ruined a lot

here’s the current features of pro CCleaner Professional | Try the world’s most trusted PC cleaner, free!

it does not say anything about wiper. maybe link the compare you’re looking at (as of this week when 7 was released/unleashed)

It was in ther “Upgrade Now” button in the app itself… but obviously that’s gone now. :frowning:

I too was looking for this tool. I greatly dislike this version, rolled it back to older version and disabled the auto update. I can’t see how a company can remove tools that were in a version you’ve already paid for. I will not be renewing until they fix it. Its a shame as I recommended Ccleaner for DECADES on literally hundreds of clients PCs but I guess I’ll be looking elsewhere and will not be renewing my pro license.
