anyway, i uses zonealarm pro... but want to look for alternative... my brother uses windows firewall...

Windows Firewall, because it has the least amount of bugs in all of the software-based firewalls I've currently tested.

Windows firewall only blocks incoming traffic, so if something nasty such as a keylogger etc. does manage to get into your computer, then there is nothing to stop it from sending your data back out again.

Yep, I already know of its failings however I do daily scans, and I'm always poking around in the registry so I'd notice anything.

Call it indecision 2005, I switched back to ZoneAlarm -- I wonder how long that decision will last.

I use the firewall in Windows XP SP2.

Like with all Windows firewalls it is very trivial and sucks.

But it does enhance the security and it doesnt get in the way.
