Your help would be greatly apppreciated thank you

Keith

this seems to be a question of personal judgment. really you need to figure out what you want and don't want deleted

as far as the registry section clean nothing. . .well nothing that you don't know you want removed. Follow the advice below, in my signature

I agree with Nergal, a lot of it is just personal choice.

Why not just go with the defaults at ccleaner install ?

Also bear in mind some of your on-line passwords for various sites may be stored in cookies, which you would need to keep if you want to retain the log-in information.

Choosing "Cookies to keep":

Thank you very much for that infomation

Keith

After doing the other cleanings, I got to cookies. I put several things into the save column, but saw no button that would allow me to erase the ones I didn't want to save. Did I miss something?

There is a vertical bar down the middle with arrow buttons.

Select any one of more cookies on one side and press the appropriate button to shift them to the other side.

The Cookie Section is cleaned within normal cleaning

Scenerio:

Place the cookies you want to keep in the right hand side

within cleaner section of ccleaner place checkmarks in the cookies section of each browser listed and also in Applications>Multimedia>Adobe Flash Player

Click Analyze and see that the cookies you wish to remove are now listed

Click Clean and see that the cookies you wish to remove are now Gone

:) Hope that helped :)

(Alan, try to read the question better :P )
