What is wrong with CCleaner support hanging up on me? Should I cancel all my subscriptions?

I just had a CCtech hangup on me for a tech question because I refused to pay the additional $300 for some sort of software extra. What is wrong with these people? I have been a customer for decades and have two licenses. Can someone help? If not, I will simply cancel both subscriptions and do a chargeback on my credit card if they do not refund. I have premium support - not getting it so far,

you contacted them by phone? they contacted you? As far as I know there is no phone support are you sure it wasn’t a scam?

Ccleaner has NO support. I recommend any security suite tune up, {Competition Name Removed} uses the same product engine as Ccleaner. Or use {Competition Name Removed}. Both work very well. Certainly better than Ccleaner garbage!

MEMBERS WILL BE REMINDED THAT THIS IS AN OFFICIAL SITE. a long time rule for this site is no competition software mentions. I understand the want/need to go to other software, that’s your choice. but burger king doesn’t allow McDonalds to post “come get a big mac down the street” adverts in their store.

like you I’m a user of ccleaner not a staff member i can just ban spam and keep order. there’s nothing i can do to CCleaner’s program.

i used judicious caps to add gravitas to the words. this is different from yelling, I’m a moderator and am moderating.

my first question stands, there is no phone support and anyone who said they were and tried tocharge you 300 dollars were likely a scam.

Ccleaner has no support. They hope volunteers will do it for free in these forums. Ccleaner does not take these forums serious at all.

CCleaner does not have a telephione support that could “Hang up” on you.
(CCleaner support is currently webchat only).

CCleaner does not have any product or any ‘extra’ that would cost $300.

What is wrong with “These People” is that they were not from CCeaner at all.

You were talking to “Tech Support” scammers.

I hope that you did not give them any personal details, or allow them remote access to your computer?
