Running the latest version of CCleaner for Mac, 1.01.106, I ran an Analyze to see what CCleaner would erase. I've got a listing of all of my installed apps, with the amount of space and number of files that would be deleted if I clicked "Clean." I'm wondering, what precisely might these files be? Notably, I see 153 MB in a single file in iTunes...is there any way to see what file that is?
I have a similar question- when deleting Apps in Mac OS X 10.6.8, does ccleaner act like an app cleaner and delete ALL of the App, not just the part in the Applications folder?
I'm so glad to see cCleaner for the Mac- I've used it on my PC every day since it came out.
Thanks
I only have the pc version but in it after analysis double click on the results (say Safari) this should give you the results.
@the5count ccleaner mac cleans the temp files like the pc version. not the whole app (which honestly would be quite a silly product wouldn't it)

Nope, no such luck in the Mac version. The results are just a text output, listing the number of files that will be deleted within each app and the hard drive space that will be recovered.

I think @the5count might be referring to the Uninstaller under Tools. That option provides the ability to remove an entire application from your Mac, not just clean temp files. Unfortunately, Piriform has been a bit mum on this, and doesn't really give any documentation for the Mac product.
Recent start-up after running ccleaner on my mac I was unable to open Itunes, I coud still see itunes in my applications folder but was unable to launch it
as I keep all of my data (music and movies on a portable usb drive I did not lose anything when I redownloaded itunes but is there a filter to prevent this from happening?
