Ok, I just wanted to ask for the heck of it. I'm pretty knowledgeable with computers and I think I already know the answer but like I said, I thought I'd ask just for the heck of it. When Recuva gives me the list of files after it does it's scan, a lot are in red and saying the the files have been overwritten by another file or they are no longer recoverable. There probably isn't any way to "recover" those files, are there? Once their gone, their gone, right?
Yes. Any cluster that's been overwritten by any means will never show it's previous contents. Disk manufacturers have spent billions to make sure of that.
Ah, okay. Well thank you for the response.
