Downloaded Speccy to give it a go and got the error shown in the screenshot.
Any ideas please?
I get that same error msg exactly,, always repeatable,,
Speccy 1.07.205 on win_xp sp3 installed this Sunday.
When Preventing file, cpuz134 from loading on boot-up I don't get the C++ Run Time error msg. see attached image, So it may be related?
I used Microsoft's/System Internals/ autoruns.exe program to prevent the file cpuz_134 from loading at boot_up. Because it reports the file "cpuz134_x32.sys" is not found.
cpuz134 File not found: C:\DOCUME~1\YOUTHE~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\cpuz134\cpuz134_x32.sys
After rebooting winXP I no longer get C++ runTime error msg, But still get no Speccy_info on the Hard Drives. See attached image.
so useing autoruns, I uncheck it to prevent it from auto running at boot_up.
.
The Autoruns program I used free at.

Ps, love your CClearner program, good job..
Sonny2,
CPUZ is a sperate program from speccy, one created and found on the cpuid website. Did you once have it installed. You can use autoruns to delete the entry for cpuz
please both of you run speccy in debug mode http://www.piriform.com/docs/speccy/troubleshooting-speccy/running-speccy-in-debug-mode
and attach the created log to this thread. also you may be asked to upload the dump file created by debug mode to a sharing site such as drop.io or localhostr so please make sure to locate that file as well (both will be found in the speccy folder)
