Since my forced update to version 7 the performance of CCleaner has become unacceptable.
Launch is slow, gritty, it’s difficult to perform any action when the windows are displaying and updating so slowly.
So there are major performance issues here, and compared to 6 it’s dire, I’ve had to shut the program down on occasions via the task manager because it becomes unresponsive. Version 6 was fine.
I get the desire to improve, but that usually involves some improvements, I’m seeing nothing that’s better. Even the aesthetic is ugly, clumsy looking, but at least it does not affect performance.
I also get that the release is only a few days old, well with all due respect, so what? While I accept that releases need the feedback to fine tune them, this is so slow and so bloated feeling (even if it isnt) that I feel the issues would have been evident before release to anyone paying attention.
