I have a situation where my main profile has a corrupted ntuser.dat, which I understand to be the registry information for my main account. When I try to log in, the computer reboots shortly after accepting my password. I have recreated the account but without the ntuser.dat file, I loose all my settings and most of my software has to be installed (some of which is a major pia to do). Is there anyway to get cclean to scan that file when I am logged in as administrator, since I cannot login as that user and run cclean?
Update 12/03/2009 - I don't know how I ended up in this topic so will repost as new discussion.
