Updating Software Problems

I have been successfully using CCleaner for several years but I’m having trouble with the Health Check feature lately. On completion of the scan and electing to update out-of-date apps, one has failed and is marked as a performance and security issue. I have no idea of which app it refers to or how to ascertain what it is to attempt updating by other means.
How can I:

a. Ascertain what the app is not updating; and

b. Determine if CCleaner will update it eventually?

All help much appreciated.

Try using ‘Software Updater’ (instead of Health Check) to see which app it says needs an update, then open that app and do the update from within the app itself.

PS. Software updater may offer you updates to the Windows system, but let Windows Update look after Windows.
