updating Ccleaner

Hello again,

There seems to be new updates to CCleaner as often as for Google Chrome.

Is it necessary to uninstall CCleaner and download the new version to install

each time there is an update?

Ccleaner is and also has been released once per month. perhaps it just seems faster than before to you but they've not released it any slower or faster than that once per month (barring major bug which once in a lunar eclipse might necessitate an out of cycle release)

usually it's not required to uninstall first, CC can be installed over the top of the current version.

but every now and then we get a problem that was resolved with an uninstall, reboot, reinstall.

if it all gets too much you can use the Portable build and just copy the new .EXE to where ever you keep your portable software.
