I have the “I’ll update manually” box checked in CCleaner, yet it ignores that and updates automatically anyway.

Please could you let me know what version you were using prior to the update so I can investigate this further.
Hello Laurence, I am sorry to say I have no way of knowing what version I was using prior to the update. That’s not something I keep track of.
Apologies, I meant were you previously on CCleaner 6 or CCleaner 7 before you were updated?
I was on CCleaner 6 before being updated to CCleaner 7.
