Can someone please advise why recent C Cleaner Update v5. 92.9652 skips Edge and internet Explorer clean and no longer empties recycle bin? There were no issues prior to this update. They have all been ticked as per usual.
Latest ccleaner is version 6.
Ccleaner skips edge because at some point you told it not to show you that edge needs to be closed, and something (some software that is running, or even edge itself, when you do your clean) is keeping edge open.
Make sure in edge that fast startup and run in the background are turned off.
In ccleaner there's an option to turn warning messages back on, but i can't remember where.
Empty recycle bin, is a harder one. Perhaps the only older than 24 hours got checked. Are the files still in the bin or is it just that ccleaner reports the same size after a clean?
