Unhappy with the CCleaner 7 update - I am uninstalling 👋

Long time CCleaner user here. CCleaner updated itself to v7 and there is now no built-in way to quit the application. I don’t want it to be always-on.

This is a big red flag. I no longer trust CCleaner and I’m uninstalling it. It seems like it’s sliding down the hill. If they removed the ability to quit the application (or at least easily quit the application) then that can only be for nefarious purposes - there is no good reason for them to remove the option to quit the app.

Just wanted to voice my dissatisfaction for the direction CCleaner is headed in hopes that they’ll reverse course.

Deleted it too for the exact reason. Why would I want CCleaner to start with my pc? I don’t want it to run as a background app. I don’t want it to start with windows. I tried running it and I tried scanning but it didn’t even work. Where are the tools like registry clean? What happened to them? This new update stinks to hell and they butchered the app for no reason

I deleted it too for the same reason and Several other Reasons! Good for you!
