I can see option to manage (enable/disable/uninstall) browser plugins for chrome/internet explorer/ firefox but not seeing tab for edge browser.
There are usually listed umder Internet Explorer still.
However note that Edge browser is Chromium based, so the extensions/plugins for Edge are basically Chrome extensions.
if you have added extensions/plugins to Edge then some of them may show up as being Chrome extensions.
I’m not seeing edge extentions neither in Internet explorer/chrome plugins section !! some this is not working right for edge extensions, it works firefox and chrome.
Hi krihavi:
I have the same problem. I no longer use the Tools | Browser Plugin feature in CCleaner after experiencing problems with this feature in CCleaner v5.x, but I checked today and confirmed the tab for my MS Edge browser is missing.
I have three extensions installed in MS Edge (Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin are enabled, Malwarebytes Browser Guard is currently disabled - see image below) so I don’t see how those two IEToEdge BHOs (Browser Helper Objects) listed on my Internet Explorer tab could have anything to do with my MS Edge extensions. I doubt it’s relevant, but all three of my MS Edge extensions were downloaded from Google’s Chrome Web Store.
According to information I found on JohnyWander’s InternetExplorerEnabler GitHub project page at https://github.com/JohnyWander/InternetExplorerEnabler the .DLLs for those IEToEdge BHOs [currrently located in my C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\138.0.3351.121\BHO folder] were implemented by Microsoft to forcibly open MS Edge if a user attempts to launch Internet Explorer.
